What is Shilajit? Also known as Mumijo, Shilajit is a natural plant-mineral complex found in high alpine regions. It forms over centuries in the rock layers of Eurasia (1,000–5,000 m) as organic matter breaks down under pressure and heat. The result is a remarkable natural substance, rich in fulvic acid, minerals and antioxidants.
