D3+K2 – well-founded combination meets well-founded dosage

D3 and K2 are a dream team, because both complement each other in their functions for the organism. How? Vitamin D3 increases calcium absorption from the intestine, which leads to an increased calcium concentration in the blood ⁵ . If the body cannot use the calcium, it deposits and can lead to calcification of blood vessels and organs. And this is where vitamin K2 comes into play, because in order for the body to use the calcium, it needs sufficient vitamin K2: The vitamin activates the proteins osteocalcin and MGP (matrix Gla protein), which in turn bind and transport calcium from the blood to our bones and teeth ⁶ . Vitamin K2 therefore ensures that calcium goes where it belongs and where the body needs it - a real hidden hero. Vitamin D3

In order to prevent a deficiency and benefit from the positive effects of vitamin D without the risk of an overdose, we have designed our spray in accordance with the latest scientific findings and with strict consideration of the dosage classified as safe by the EFSA for lifelong use, in addition to the body's own production. It supplies your body with 50 µg of vitamin D per daily portion (2 sprays). For comparison: the DGE recommends a minimum intake of 20 µg/day for adults with no endogenous synthesis of vitamin D3 and the EFSA specifies a maximum daily amount of 100 µg/day ⁸ .

Vitamin K

The mouth spray is sensibly supplemented with vitamin K2 as all trans menaquinone-7. This means: even more benefits with the supply of 70 µg vitamin K2 MK-7 per daily portion (2 sprays), because vitamin K has also been proven to contribute to the maintenance of normal bones and also supports normal blood clotting. ² For comparison: The DGE communicates a daily requirement of60 µg to 80 µgfor adults, depending on age and gender ⁹ .
